Enter one month of support figures

All fields are required. Enter zero when a cost does not apply, and use the same period for every value.

Currency changes the unit label only; it does not convert amounts. Enter every cost in the selected currency.

Calculations run in your browser. Your figures are not sent or retained after a reload. If you consent to analytics, we record calculator use without field values.

How is cost per resolved case calculated?

Add software, usage, human support and other allocated support costs for one month, then divide by resolved cases in that same month. Human support cost equals support and review hours multiplied by the fully loaded hourly cost.

Cost per case = (software + usage + hours × hourly cost + other costs) ÷ resolved cases

A reproducible fictional example

A fictional US team spends USD 400 on software, USD 200 on usage and USD 100 on other costs, with 40 hours at USD 50 per hour. The total is USD 2,700. If it resolves 300 cases under a consistent definition, cost is USD 9 per resolved case. These are teaching figures, not Anti Sandbox prices or customer results.

What should your team include?

  • Use the company’s fully loaded hourly cost rather than wages alone. Include allocated management or training costs under other costs without double counting.
  • If sales and support share software, allocate its cost using a documented, consistent rule. Include actual channel and usage charges for the period.
  • Define resolution and your treatment of reopened cases. Administrative closure does not establish that the customer’s problem was solved.
  • Do not compare teams using different currencies, periods or resolution definitions. Selecting SAR or USD here performs no currency conversion.

The calculator does not predict savings or reply quality. Pair it with actual quality review and repeat-contact measurement before expanding a pilot.
